Cordless angle grinder with soft start and variable speed control delivering up to 8500rpm. Powered by an 18V Li-lon LXT slide-type battery to supply energy to the powerful 18V brushless motor. Equipped with on/off slide switch, lock-on function (for continuous use), spiral bevel gears (for smoother rotations), spindle lock (for easy wheel changes) and electric brake for increased operator safety. Anti-restart function to minimise the motor starting up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on. Electric current limiter for overload protection. Wire mesh intake covers and removable dust covers, to help prevent debris from entering the motor. Side-grip can be installed on either side of the tool for operator convenience. Features Automatic Torque Drive Technology (ADT) which automatically changes the cutting speed according to the load for optimum operation. Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool to protect the user if the rotation speed suddenly slows down. With battery protection circuit designed to protect the battery from damages due to overheating, over-discharge and overload current. Not compatible with G-Series batteries.
